Hello again Bloggers and Bloggerinen...Bryan is back on duty :)
(Skip to the bottom if you only are interested in Sports, LOL)
We're getting ready for the long trip to Poland tomorrow morning where we will see Syl's cute, funny & warm parents! Its been a while since we saw them last, so we are looking forward to the good times, good food and fun :)
Thanks so much for all the nice comments on our last post. Your kind and quick witted words give us energy and motivation in our busy lives!
Blessed with a little luck from the Sun gods and our vacation starting at the same time, we decided to take another trip to Füssen (Liebe Grüße to the Füssen-Girl Saskia :-)), and enjoy a nice peaceful picnic. There's just something about the small towns and all those cows chillin out that relaxes me. I come from the very fast paced city of Los Angeles where there are not too many cows wandering on the countryside, hahaha.
While approaching our picnic spot, I peered over and saw the Sommerrodelbahn (Bobrun)... and thought today is a good day for this! So got the tickets, was ready to go, and of course Syl had to say "Be careful Bry!". I play lots of sports, so no chance something could go wrong, right??! So I'm racing down the curvy pipe and sure enough... got ummm.. a little tooooo much speed... and CRASHED, TUMBLED and SLID to a STOP!! Only a few burns on my shoulder and a bleeding arm to show for my "short" journey, but I still raced down another 5x... Still a child at heart and Ego repaired. :)))
While I was racing... errrr crashing, Syl found the perfect Picnic spot and here are some photos:
Always with us "Czas odnaleziony" by Mimi and Zorki :-) as Syl already introduced
|Keep calm and crochet on as Syl says (You won't catch me doing this) ;-))|
Syl's little friend hijacking her Tea Towel. ;-))
And especially from Syl to Sylwia who loves Füssen :-))))
OK, and now a short update for all you Sport followers, especially Jutte's husband.
After my favorite baseball team the LA Dodgers spent an "enormous" amount of money on big talent players over the last month, designed with a Win Now mentality, they have instead gone on to slowly lose control of the division and risk missing the playoffs after many key losses... Always a Soap Opera in LA, grrrrr!!
On the bright side, my Dallas Cowboys football team has started the season off in good form by beating the 2011 champs handily... Go Boys!
So blogger friends, looking forward to hearing from you soon.
